My Top 9
I just opened up the applications for my model rep team Class of 2021. It really makes me take a good hard look at the year behind me and reflect on all the photos I have taken. Over on Instagram they have this silly app that shows you your top 9 images for the year. It's kinda fun to see your top liked images and see what people really liked. At the same time it's just kinda a silly little fact regarding my photography. I don't post on Instagram or Facebook just for likes. What I mostly think about is the shy girl who came to her session not knowing how to pose or if she looked okay that day. I also think about the senior guy who came because his mom "made him" I think about how they will feel at the end of their session. As I shoot each seniors session I really think about how to make them feel comfortable and able to relax and have fun with having their senior portraits taken. I would have to say that 9/10 senior guys will leave a session and tell their moms "Hey that was actually fun and not bad at all" It's so important to capture who YOU are at this amazing time in your life. Is it a bit of an investment ? Sure.......but you are worth it !!!! Let's work together to create a memorable senior session !
