Hi, I'm Steph!

I'm a Northern California photographer, wife, mom, sister, friend, and professional humor seeker and not always in that order.

I've been told more than once by my adult kids that I should probably start acting my age, but honestly, I've never been very good at that. I've always felt young at heart and love keeping up with current trends, music, social media, and pop culture. Life is simply more fun when you stay curious and never stop learning.

When I'm not behind the camera, you'll usually find me with an iced coffee in hand, scrolling Instagram, listening to a podcast, binge-watching reality TV, caring for my ever-growing collection of houseplants, or planning our next family adventure. I love road trips, Disneyland, beach days with the dogs, a beautiful sunset, a good sermon, and just about anything that brings people together.

Family is everything to me. What started as a family of four has grown into something even sweeter. Our two adult children now have wonderful partners of their own, and our family dinners have become a little louder, a little fuller, and a whole lot more fun. Those nights around the table—filled with laughter, stories, and way too much food—are some of my favorite moments and a big reminder of why preserving memories matters so much.

Photography has been part of my life for over 20 years, and I'm completely self-taught. Even after all these years, I still believe there's always something new to learn. Whether it's through workshops, podcasts, online education, YouTube, or connecting with other creatives, I'm constantly looking for ways to grow and improve my craft. That's one of the things I love most about photography—there's always another story to tell and another opportunity to learn.

And if there's one thing you should know about me, it's that I'm completely obsessed with dogs. Like... maybe a little more than normal. If you follow me on Instagram, you've probably already met my three furry sidekicks. They make frequent appearances and are very much part of the family.

Most importantly, I believe photographs become more valuable with time. My goal is to create images that feel authentic, joyful, and timeless—photos that help you remember not just what life looked like, but what it felt like.

Oh, and one more thing...

I can't live without coffee. Seriously. It's basically a personality trait at this point.
