How to get ready for a family session

Getting ready for a family session can feel a little stressful. Don't sweat the small stuff. I have a Pinterest Board here that can give you some good ideas about color schemes and outfits that look good all together.

If you are bringing toddlers/preschoolers to the sessions, don't be afraid to use bribery to get them to cooperate. I will normally have Smartie Candies with me which are also good little treats in between smiles. I take a good amount of posed and unposed type of photos. Don't stress too much if your preschool/toddler doesn't want to cooperate that much. You might be surprises with the type of photos I am able to capture. I normally make the session into one big game for the kids and they normally always love that part of the session and I end up getting great photos.
