1. How did you feel being photographed without makeup? What did you learn about yourself?

 Being photographed without makeup was a completely new experience for me. I’ve been wearing makeup in pictures for years and nows the time to break the trend. I’ve learned that it was never as much of a big deal as I thought, and all of my worries and doubts were just in my head.

2. Tell me about a time when someone made you feel bad about your appearance. How did you deal with it or overcome it?

My whole life I’ve struggled with acne and confidence because of that. I had to learn along the way that the people who were bullying me probably had worse issues it insecurities of their own that they were projecting onto me

3. What characteristics and traits do you think make you beautiful? What makes others truly beautiful?

I’ve always loved my eyes and smile and have always been complimented on them. True beauty isn’t a physical trait, it’s a mindset, and a way you present yourself and act. 

4. What do you think this project does for girls’ confidence? What can they learn about themselves? 

Project beauty can help girls discover the confidence they never thought they had. It can help them see themselves through a completely different perspective. They can learn to love themselves and feel beautiful just as they are

WHAT DOES TRUE BEAUTY MEAN TO YOU?

True beauty to me comes from the inside. It doesn’t matter what you look like if you’re a bad person. Beauty is in how you treat others, and treat yourself. Beauty is in everyone, they just have to dig deep enough to find it.
